NATULON® Ocean Sourced® zippers use 100% recycled material made from ocean bound plastic (OBP) for their tape.
It is estimated that approximately 80% of ocean plastic waste originates from land-based sources*1, with a significant portion coming from Asia*2.
By using OBP PET bottle waste collected in Sri Lanka, NATULON® Ocean Sourced® helps address one of the primary sources of ocean plastic pollution.
OBP is plastic waste discarded on land within 50 km of coastlines in areas where waste management is insufficient or nonexistent.
