JOB DESCRIPTION
- Review and interpret machine drawings and electrical schematics of production equipment and conduct hazard identification and risk assessments for machinery and equipment.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to ensure that the operation, installation, and maintenance of machinery and equipment comply with technical safety requirements.
- Conduct machine safety assessments in accordance with Vietnamese regulations and Group standards and propose technical improvement measures to enhance equipment safety.
- Manage and supervise contractors performing electrical work, maintenance, and equipment installation activities within the factory.
- Participate in the Safety Department’s general activities, including fire protection and firefighting (PCCC) systems, safety training, occupational health programs, and other related activities.
- Perform other tasks assigned by Department Manager.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Graduated from College or higher with major in Electrical Engineering/ Electronics/ Industrial Electrical Engineering, or related fields
- Experience:
- At least 3 years of experience in design, installation, or operation of electrical systems/equipment
- At least 2 years of experience in a factory environment in a team leader or management position
- Experience in machine design or fabrication is an advantage
- Skills:
– English or Japanese communication level
– Good office computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
– Have skills to analyze, synthesize data and make reports
– Ability to read and understand technical drawings; CAD skills preferred
– Risk identification and assessment related to machinery and work activities
– Have communication skills, teamwork and creative thinking
