What is World Environment Day?
Every year on June 5th, people all around the world come together to celebrate World Environment Day. This special day is all about raising awareness and encouraging everyone to take care of our planet. In 2025, the theme is “Together for a Green Earth,” reminding us that every little action counts in keeping our Earth healthy.
YKK Vietnam’s Tree Planting Activity in Long Tho
To join in this important event, YKK Vietnam worked with the Long Tho Commune People’s Committee, local militia, police, youth union, company leaders, and community representatives to plant 20 Trumpet Trees at Long Tho Secondary School (Campus 2).
Planting these trees not only makes the school greener and more beautiful but also helps provide fresh air and shade for the students, supporting a better learning environment for our future generations.
Why Trees Matter
Trees are amazing! They help clean the air by absorbing carbon dioxide and giving us oxygen. They also prevent soil erosion, cool the environment, and make our surroundings more pleasant. By planting trees, we’re making a promise to protect nature and build a healthier, more sustainable future.
